  • Landscape Texture?

Is it supported in VRay? Any tips?

I think you may need to clarify what you mean.

Only works with MR so I'm looking for Z-axis methods to blend materials for terrain. Perhaps a distance texture?

I remember playing with a plugin awhile back, but I forget what it was. Kind of like this:http://www.cprogramming.com/discussi...eneration.html

You can do this with vanilla tools. Eiter a Top/Bottom Material on material level or a falloff (type: perpendicular /falloff direction: local z axis)
on map level. For a terrain it´s easier to use a Top/Bottom Material. On the otherhand you can adjust the transition much better on map level
with the mix curve or additional procedurals.
