Matte object and alpha channel

I use the matte object option from vray
to separate layers before photoshop
it works well for the layers. But when i want to load the alpha channel, this one is made for the whole scene including my matte object.

May somebody help me please?

Alpha Contribution -1..

Use the object settings.. (right click on the object and go to Vray Properties, set the Matte checkbox, and Alpha to -1.)

This comes up nearly weekly.. Is there a Better way we could handle this to make it easier for new users? I know i took me a few tries to notice the -1 bit..
