Does Vray support dual Proc rendering?

    Im not sure why or how fR is using 4 buckets in win2k but natively win2k does NOT support HT. To gain full benifits you must be running XPpro or win2k server. Also it does help to enable HT in your BIOS if you are not sure how to do that consult your manual or your systems administrator.

    *EDIT* on the question about the 2 extra buckets. There is a noticeable decrease in render time but as the extra buckets are only logical cpu's its prob only about a 15% to 30% increase in performance depending on the scene.

      Just to follow up, I enabled HT, and now have 4 buckets in Vray. and the particular scene I tested, rendered in half the time!

          you must enable HT before installing the OS.
          otherwise the OS won't recognize it.
