      I think the keys are 1) the material will be darker than it normally is 2) try to add some variation with maps in the reflection and reflection glossiness slots 3) don't get too carried away. Here's a couple I've done, I'm always a sucker for shiny pavement. If I was to do the eye level view again I'd add more randomness to it. The aerial view was meant to look more like a "just rained" scene, it was in Washington State after all.
