Should I have sub pixel mapping off now if I use max ray intensity ? Also, does having sub pixel mapping on speed up renders in general ?

In most of the cases when subpixel mapping is on the render times are higher not lower - please note that the result is more accurate when this option is off.
Is times lower or higher just with that (if subpixel is off)?

On a side note, what does the primitives value in the stamp stand for, I can see it has different numbers, but the only thing different between the two renders is the max ray intensity.Last edited by Vizioen; 16-10-2014, 07:36 AM.

Check that value in V-Ray log window - the number there should stay the same regardless MRI value.
This bug happens sometimes even without changing anything in the scene - try to render the scene a few subsequent times without any change and you'll notices that the number will change from its real value to something like 840 or 850 ect.
I'll make note about it into our system.
