Hi Chaosguys,
i ve been wonderign about vray rendernodes versatility.
Questions is:
1. Is it possible to use vray rendernodes which we will buy not only for rendering under MAX, but also for rendering with MAYA, provided we get some maya workstation licences too, to be able to utilize the same number of rendernodes as we use for MAX?
2. If not, is this planned for the future?
We do character animations from time to time and as you probably know, MAX sucks for doing that. For that we need MAYA as for some other things.
We tried Alembic, but unfortunatelly the trial version only supports 1 object per ABC format and the newest version 1.5.4 is not supported by MAX at all.
It would be really cool if the vray rendernodes were universal.
Thanks for the reply
