  • Show map in viewport issue

Probably a "duh" question, but I'm having a heck of a time with this particular file in getting the materials to show in the viewport.
Usually, clicking "show map in viewport" does just that. But for whatever reason, nothing I try seems to work. I've looked at material properties, and viewport configurations, but to no avail. Probably something simple.

    1. do you have UVW mapping applied (sometimes deleting and re-applying the uvw mapping solves it if there's already one applied)
    2. nothing is selected in the subobject of the editable poly/mesh?
    2. did you try show map in viewport only in the diffuse channel?

Check the display tab, Display Color - make sure Shaded: is set to Material Color, and not Object Color

"Display Tab"? Nothing under preferences and only "Display Performance" under Viewport Configuration. Not sure where you mean?

          1) Yes, but re-applying didn't help.
          2) No.
          3) Yes.

          Don't know what's going on...
