Hi,
Pretty basic question I'm afraid.
I've just started working on a medical job where they're using VRay 2.5 and I'm experimenting with the fastSSS2 material.
I've been asked about creating a material for organs which shows the structure of arteries etc inside (sharp at the surface, but softer inside), but I'm not having any luck with the raytraced refractive scatter mode.
The best approximation I've found is by using the standard material with glossy refraction, so I just wanted to check if what I want to do is actually possible with the FastSSS2 shader or if I should be using the standard VRay Material.
Thanks,
Steve
