great, thanks Vlado. When working with scenes of different units the bias value can sometimes get a bit messed up so wanted to check.
Yes, there is that. A value of 0.0 will work for many cases too and is independent of the scene scale, but it might show shadow artifacts on low-poly objects. Eventually I would like to remove it and somehow compute a proper value automatically.
That would be cool, I just took the habit of putting it at 0.
Question, does any of this (shadow bias, cutoff, subdivs) has any incidence when rendering in progressive or even RT?
Subdivs has no effect in Progressive Image-Sampler and V-Ray RT.
Shadow Bias and Cutoff parameters are taken into account from both Progressive and RT.
