  • VRay Light Material Opacity and Z Depth

Is there a way to stop the VRay light material opacity affecting the Z Depth render element? Currently the parts that are transparent are also transparent in the Z Depth. I believe this occurs on other render elements too.

    Thanks,

This is not possible directly from VrayLightMtl but you can get the effect you are looking after with VRayBlendMtl with Fully Refractive(IOR=1) Base Shader and VrayLightMtl as a Coat Shader.
Then you can control the transparency of the VrayLightMtl via Blend Amount Tex in VrayBlendMtl.
