  • Request: V-Ray material Self-Illumination value

    Hi Vlado,

Would it be possible in a future V-Ray to be able to have a texture control the Multiplier for the Self-illumination value of a standard V-Ray material? For example, in my scene I have many different TV screen images, and I would like to be able to control the brightness of all of them with a single V-Ray colour map

    Best regards

How about using a VrayCompTex in the self-illum map slot and using an instanced texture map in one of it's source slots (e.g. a multiTexture) with the other being the TV image?

What dlparisi said, you should be able to get the same effect by multiplying two textures.

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
