optimising distance tex rendertime. help?

    looks cool, but as far as i can tell from that video, it cannot use another object as the cutter? in this case i need to show only the geometry that is inside another (hidden) object. dont care about capping. distance tex with opacity mask and vrayclipper both provide this ability, but both are slow as ***k (heck) to render.

          im sending a file to you at support@chaosgroup.com. the job is currently on hold for a couple of weeks.. so i have some breating space to reconsider ditching it. if somebody there can figure out how to get this to render at a decent speed, i could potentially use it again.. but as it is.. just too slow!
