  • Prevent Vray to render self intersection?

    hi,
I have to make a small stilized medical animation.
And have to shade some cells.
At the moment I use Pflow to scatter the cells.
Unfortunatly the cell hulls are intersecting each other.. is there any way to prevent Vray from rendering the intersection part of the Particles?
Would be enough to simply cut it away.

I've tried to use the Cellular mode in Phoenix Foam which generates a very nice gemonetry.
But i can't find a way to override the material to make it less bubble like (have a opaque surface at the borders).

You could probably drive Opacity with a Vray Distance map and set the inside color to black and the outside distance color to white with a 0.00001 distance.

Thanks for your reply, I've tried that but unfortunatly you can't apply it to the object which is referred as Distance object.
Anyway, I had no time so I rescattered them by hand. I'm glad that I don't have to use millions of them so i could get away with it.
