Has anyone experienced rendering times being slower than previous version or is it just me?

Hello,
Not here - to us, VRay is faster than ever on both: setup time and render time.Nicolas Caplat

Not here. For us 3.3 is faster. Not to mention the time saved not having to fiddle with every single subdiv parameter in materials/lights. Maybe you've got a very specific case where it might exhibit stranger behaviour but for us everything so far is faster and prettier.Aleksandar Mitov

I have a scene that's about four times slower on 3.3 - it seems to be due to using a Material Wrapper with the option for "shadows" ticked. I have versions from before and after the upgrade I can send that show the problem. I'm guessing it's related to sampling changes?
Should I open a support ticket, or PM someone here?
