  • Is it possible to drive vray environment fog with particles ?

Is it possible to use particle flow particle position as a gizmo reference for vray envfog ?

I was hoping to place a series of particles in 3d space and have vrayenv fog create cloud puffs at the particle.

Adding particle flow as a gizmo doesn't work.

I haven't tried, but two things come to mind:

    1. This script:

Pretty old but should still do the trick still.

    2. A mesher compound object, pick the pflow with the mesher and then pick the mesher in the env fog window.

Thanks. I think the mesher compound or even using blob mesh might work.

blob mesh would be preferable to any method that copies objets to particles, since, unless its changed, intersecting objects/flipped faces etc, cause artifacts in the env fog when used as gizmos.
