  • working with LUTS FILES

Hi guys, will there ever be an option to maybe skip through lut files in the folder without having to hit load each time to see the new lut file? much like changing blending modes in photoshop, i have a folder i downloaded with many lut files but its a pain to load each one to see how it looks, rather would be nice to just scroll with the mouse wheel or something and it scrolls through the different lut files in the folder its loading from. and also maybe a opacity option? because maybe the full strength of the lut file is not needed, would go a long way to help tone the images as we work without having to rely on much post processing in the end. sorry if i posted this in the wrong part of the forum not sure

I have no current way of doing that any effectively (I could surely create my own bitmap buffers and do that myself, but it'd be awfully slow in MXS. Awfully.).
Your best bet is to generate as many variations as you like, and blend them with any simple painting or compositing package.
Fusion is free, for example, and super easy to get into.

This is great, but, it doesn't seem to work unless auto apply is switched off, which kind of defeats the purpose (Max 2019 Next 4.1)

                    Any ideas lele?

Edit: Ah just use mouse scroll. Arrow keys don't work when auto apply is selected. Mouse wheel does though

Very odd about the arrow keys: i have no control over them (ie. i added no special code to intercept the keys and make them do something).
Will look into it, and report back if i can indeed fix the issue.
