      Vray is your baby and you do what you want with it. I'm riding the Vray wave wherever it takes me. I doubt that people will update their turbosquid models that use it, so as long as there is some mechanism for converting them, it should be fine. Thanks for all your hard work on Vray, it's amazing.

        Well, there won't be any errors or anything; the materials will just render as though the interpolation is turned off.

                  Just not needed these days imho. It was good many moons ago for speeding up glossy's on stills but that was like 10 years ago. +1 remove.
