  • dual processor problem

    Hi!
I have problem with vray and dual Xeon processor configuration. When I render the scene with vray it shows me only two buckets. HT is enabled and in device manager under windows (XP) I see 4 processors, so windows recognise them. What should I do in order to enable max and vray to use dual technology?
    Thanks in advance....

You probably don't have checked ON the multi-threading option in preferences.
Go to Customize/Preferences/Render-> and there you will find thi s option ( bottom left )

I think he meant that he can verify that he has 4 processors via Device Manager.

            Correct...
In device manager (under processor) I see that I have "4" processors...
So, the windows recognised both processors and the HT.
I only don't know why vray shows only two buckets instead of four...and the option of HT inside max is enabled....

            Anybody?
            Thanks in advance.
