  • mapping a lightprobe onto the inside surface of a cube

    Hi,

I am wondering how one would map a lightprobe onto the inside surface of a cube at close to the right scale?

I have not found a utility to do this in max . There are several free shaders availiable for Maya etc. If somebody could point me in the right direction it would ne much appreciated indeed.

    Thanks,

    James

Shrinkwrap is the mapping type you will need for mapping an angularmap onto a box.

hey dcshaga, really dig your pano tour site. Will definitely have to give it a try. Is the .sdr usable currently with vray? Maybe a tutorial like that great one for the pano maker would be helpful
