    The best way really is that you try the suggestions for improvement and do it yourself. Besides I still only have autodesk Viz 4. Maybe after Christmas I will upgrade Viz to 2005.

    Another thing is to make your renders small like 640 x 480 while you are working on light balance, materials shading and speed. It will be much faster for you.

        for a good speedup check the "store with irradiance map" on all your vray lights. It will derive its shadow quality from your irradiance map settings. Since your settings appear to be fairly high quality, you should still get good quality shadows, but should render alot faster.
