i have been doing some test with caustic ..
you can see a jpg. here ..

then i did a small animation test, where the only moving object is the spotlight that is moving in a circle around the knot.
I also made some very hard un-real shadows to show the route ...
Thepoint is, that the light source is moving, but the caustic remains the same ..

experimanting with a bottle of gin (
) and a flash-light shows that the caustic should move with the source light (which is also logic, but i didn't know if the problem was the shape of the node-object)
am i doing something wrong (which is likely) , or is it a Vray bug/limit ?
