I know there's lots of posts on asking what spec is the best for Vray rendering. Im looking to upgrade my workstation and im trying to work out for progressive rendering and IPR CPU would a higher clock speed single core machine like an i9 be better than a dual xeon e5 or e7 ?

Lastly, the single i9 will outperform xeon in the single threaded operations, so there is more benefit of it for doing actual work (besides rendering).Last edited by Morbid Angel; 06-08-2017, 02:21 PM.Dmitry Vinnik
