  • VRayDistanceTexture and particles

    Is there any way to get the vraydistancetexture to look at the geometry of a particle system?
    At the moment it appears to just work based on the pivot point of the particle, the scale of a particle seems to not affect it either.
    I also tried wrapping it with vray metaballs but the vraydistancetexture doesn't see that at all.

    From the top of my head I would try to use a Mesher compound object on the particle system, and point VrayDistance Texture to the Mesher. Hope that works...
