Quick Question - How to convert Roughness to Glossiness? Simply Invert?

Hi guys,

Sorry but I cant remember what to do here. How do I convert Roughness to Glossiness? Do I simply Invert the Roughness map to turn it into a Glossy Map?

Yep - it's a "strength" setting with more rough or more glossy (mirror) being opposite sides of the scale so depending on what your material setting wants to use, invert as needed.

I don't know if that help. But in the latest vray you can simply use roughness maps and check "use Roughness" under BDRF
