I woudl deal with the support directly Bobby. Get a support ticket, they will tunnel your comp and check your computer.
I still have a tool from the Chaos support guys here called maxattach.bat that does the dump log but since youre not getting crashes but freezes, i dont think it will work for you.
Writing this problem here will not get you far with the current level of forum support.
If youre lucky, the will sort you out over regular support and if you arent lucky, they will tell you they cant replicate.
Therefore please insist on them checking your computer directly.
Its definitelly Vray related issue.
Prepare a scene that does this but loads quick

just instal a free version of Team Viewer and give those guys a Teamviewer computer ID and one time password.
Really simple and they really do magic trust me
It would really be a bad luck if they did not know the solution once they can lay their hands on your comp.
And no worries, this is perfectly safe i ve done that a lot

Once they hit render they'll be locked out because the machine will freeze. I'll give it a try.

I think they will first check all the windows settings to make sure all is set well. These freezes started happenning since the creators update last summer.

I was about ready to launch Corona. Literally, I was having to crash windows by hard booting to stop V-Ray. My screen would freeze and hitting esc for 1/2 an hour does nothing. I installed the CPU Power Tool script and it looks like the problem has been solved. hallelujah!
