well its definitely an issue with the new build, since when net rendering it was only happening on a couple of machines, turns out those ones had .15 on and the others had .14
so ive now moved all renderboxes back to .14 and no more dots.
as i mentioned earlier, this scene is hooj, so im kinda glad i didnt have to go hunting for uvw maps!
You can easily check for missing uvw channels by switching for a moment to the scanline renderer and trying to render the scene - it will put up a warning in this case, and a list of the problemmatic objects.
I use Sun Light whit VrayShadows (no areashadows)
If I OFF sun - red dots dead and all ok

I close file and open again. I no see red dots.

If you want you can send me the scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com so that I can take a look - even if it is a bug, an example scene will help me to track it and fix it.
maybe you were looking directly into your sun. you know your not supposed to look directly at the sun you might see little red spots.

hey, i dont know what is going on with those red dots, but that exist, exist... in my image, they ocurred because of the floor material, but there is nothing diferent on it than what i've been using latelly, just a tile with reflections... if i aply a white vray material at the floor, the red dots just desappear
hey vlado, i sent you the file, please, take a look and give us a feedback. i've lost a whole night render because of this new issue
ok, for the ones who are passing by the same problem as me, with red ddots, be awere about objects without uvw map, that was my problem... thanks vlado for you great support
