  • Constantly getting Denoiser errors - out of memory

    Hi guys,

recently (most likely after window update) i started gettgin these errors as per the attachment.
My system has 128GB RAM and the graphics card has 6GB.
THere is no way it shoudl be gettgin out of mem when i render on CPU and using the card just for denoising.
So...any idea what could be the issue?
    I am suspecting the drivers.
But before i dig into drivers debug i wanted to ask here and also if you could recommend a driver thats reliable to use with NEXT?

    Thank you!

What does your system say? I use TechPowerUp GPU-Z to monitor my RAM. I have some scenes that use 3-4GB just to have MAX open, which shouldn't be more than 1GB, but it happens.

We are successfully denoising scenes with cards with only 1 or 2 gb of memory so its really weird its not working and i am getting memory issues of this kind

Please check how much free VRAM do you have before using the denoiser. 3rd party tools like MSI Afterburner are reliable of showing the correct amounts.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

do you mean this one? there are quite a few of 417 ones.

speaking of this, do you also use a nested one o a newer one?

I think that is it. I don't understand your question. When I install a new driver I do a custom install and select the clean install button.
