Problem with stereoscopic renders and lens flares

I need to render some stereoscopic images and I noticed that lens flares that are around the seams of the two images produce weird results. Please check the attached example. How can I avoid this?

render equirectangular not cube. less edges. still some photoshoping needed I guess. keep the render without lens effects and just fix some parts.
