Hey guys,
So to explain my issue in a simple way, I have 2 objects, 1 is visible from frames 1-100, and the other from 90-200, basically when because transparent while the other shows up, kind of faking a fade effect here.
If I am to use the standard 3d max materials and animate the opacity of the material, and render, it works perfect, but when i use vray materials and animate the refraction to max, and the reflection to 0, to make the objects disappear, it also works but when i render it picks it up in the alpha channel + any other render elements such as the AO.
Any idea how I should approach this, or if animating the refraction is the right way to do this?
Thanks guys!
