The slider can be overridden if you input, say, another zero in the number box.

Also the drive has 114 GB free space available, that is why i do not understand the issue
This is odd, indeed, you'd need two 57GB images to fill it (in fact, two 40GB ones, and a third wouldn't fit.)
How big is one of those images on disk?

Maybe i can try to manual set it to something like 75.000 or even 100.000?

Usually i always copy/paste directly from the VFB to photoshop to use render elements, so after doing this the 8000 x 4000 JPEG is only about 35 MB when saved from Photoshop.

Yes, you can set it to a value up to 10.000.000 MB (10 tera)

That's going to be a fraction of the real image size on disk, for two reasons: the original image is stored as 32bpc, not 8bpc, and the render elements present will all add up (f.e. lightselects, back to beauty layers, and so on).
You should right-mouse click on the history image, and select "Show in Folder".
        Then you'd know.

That might be the issue then.

The .VRIMG file was about 10 GB, so after 2/3 images it gets to the 25 GB size max.

As i have about 114 GB left on disk but have a second partition disk with almost 500 GB free space, will set the history folder there and boost the max settings to 450 GB, i believe that will solve the issue.

Thanks again for your help, much appreciated
