Ok, too bad My point just being that the way to work around this issue currently is quite difficult and unless you spend 30 minutes to build some complicated custom setup that the average user probably wouldn't know how to do.
Anyway, happy to hear it's being considered!Check out my FREE V-Ray Tutorials

Hi, I think the ground projection is now totally broken in the current release in following situation:
- Domlight with VRayBitmap Spherical HDRI Ground Projection enabled (e.g. 250 radius)
- Enabled "Lock texture to icon" in the light
- If the domelight has any z-rotation other than 0 the ground projection totally fails to place anything on a groundplane.
Can we just have it like in Corona please? I really am really struggeling to see how the ground projection has any use in its current state.Check out my FREE V-Ray Tutorials

Hey Jonas,
can you please send us your simplified scene where the problem occurs here :

Hi, sure but I think with 3 steps I posted you could just replicate it yourself, or are you getting a correct result?Check out my FREE V-Ray Tutorials

ivaylo.iskrenov Here you can find a scene following exactly the steps I outlined. Note that if you rotate the view the teapot is floating over the groundplane. if the z-rotation of the domelight is set to 0 it sticks.Attached FilesCheck out my FREE V-Ray Tutorials
