  • Problem whith motion blur and moving camera. Bug?

    Hello,

I'm trying to make a scene with a moving car. The car should be in focus while the surroundings are blurred. Basically like in this image:

Size:	338.3 KB

To achieve this I linked the Vray Physicle Camera + target and the car to an animated dummy object. The problem is the only thing that's is blurred is the car! This behavior seems to me not physically accurate.
    How can I fix this?.

I attached a simple test scene to illustrate the problem.

    Thanks for your help

I get this from your sample with a recent nightly, which isn't what you described you were getting.
What's your result for the test scene instead?

What version of v-ray are you working with?
If it's V.5, do you you have access to the nightlies?

Are you using IPR? We do have a bug logged with it with major priority, whereby the results are wrong in IPR but correct in final renders.
Would you kindly verify it's the case?

Yes, that's it. I didn't use IPR but interactive rendering in VFB. When I use just Render it's correctly blurred. Really strange.

              Thank You

There has been an issue with that for quite some time now in IPR: https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...y-wrong-result

This issue has been known for 2 years now and they didn't fix it? Come on Chaos Group you can do better!

Sending scene files to support is all I can do... The rest is up to them.

Can we please raise priority for this once again? I am having another shot right now, and I can not see the correct result in IPR. Setting up these shots feels like rendering 15 years ago. Change value, render. Change value again, render. It annoys me.
