I've just tried on my machine a few models and they render 1:1, so once again - can someone pack a max scene with the respective anima project where the problem is reproducible?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

i followed this up with axyz - their response below in italics

I haven't tested yet, but thinking perhaps converting the axyz content to alembic might help...?
Then the problem is in the Chaos Group plugin. Our plugin generates native V-Ray shaders on all our models, they should look the same in your local render or in any other remote render where you choose to make them. As you can imagine, we have no control at all over how the Chaos Cloud plugin processes the scene, so we cannot do anything to fix this issue from our side.
Rebus farm uses our plugin directly installed in all their nodes, they don't use any kind of translation to VrScene at any point of its workflow, so it is very unlikely that they have this same issue that you were describing. Perhaps they have other issues, but not that one. Also, we would appreciate any information you might have about the issues that Rebus has with anima®.
No change at all was made on the shaders on the latest versions of anima®, so it is unlikely that this could be the cause of the problem. However, we would appreciate it if you could tell us which version exactly is working fine and which one is not working as expected, and send us some screenshots of both cases.

      Thanks in advance.

They ask for what we do: material proof of the issue, so it can be observed and then fixed.
Is there really no misbehaving scene that can be sent over?
