  • Render to Texture baking causing black polygons and bizarre shadows...

I have a scene set up with Brute Force and Light Cache. To render it normally, all shadows on my object are fine, but when I try creating a VrayCompleteMap in Render to Texture, I get bizarre black areas on certain polygons and strange shadows. Could this be a Vray issue, or a model issue? I appreciate any thoughts on how to fix this. Rendering a VRayDiffuseFilterMap works fine, but the Complete one is messed up. The initial Light Cache part seems fine, but when it completes the CompleteMap, it gets messed up.

Umh, try setting the ray bias (Render settings panel) to 0.001 or so.
