How do I enable tracesets in Vray 5? If I exclude an object from reflections they still are reflected. Did I forget how to use reflection exclusions or is there a bug?

No problems here same vray - max. Click an object > vray properties > tracesets > reflection exclude > choose which one not to reflect in this object > OK > close.

Sorry I didn't see you attached a scene. You need to do it the other way around. Instead of assigning the plane to the reflection exclusion of the teapot, you need to assign the teapot in the reflection exclusions of the plane.

Huh... I had done it both ways and it didn't work. But what I'm finding is that if I close the vray tracesets window... and then re-open it... about 50% of the time it doesn't actually save. I just did it 3 times and it only stuck the last time. Every other time I reopend the trace sets after OK'ing out the whole way back to the viewport it actually saved the change.Gavin Greenwalt

That's strange, I don't seem to experience this problem. Might be Max related? Do you have this with other dialogues?

im.thatoneguy Thanks for the provided scene. I managed to reproduce the issue (on a fresh scene as well) - it seems to happen when one object is already excluded by another (preventing mutual exclusion). I'll notify the developers and write back.
