  • Bright refraction.

I can't figure out why the refraction through glass is much brighter than no glass. I've tried glass without reflection and have tried some of the glass preset materials. But I get the same result. And I've tried turning off Filmic tonemap and exposure and lens effects in VFB layers with no change. I can kind of fix it in post using the refraction pass which isn't blown out. Any thoughts on how to deal with this?

Are you certain it isn't the reflection itself added to the lighting outside? Add a BackToBeauty element and try to determine where that information is located. Otherwise, do strip down the scene (glass and floor would suffice) and attach it here (or use the contact form) so we can take a look.
