Vray6 - Vray Blend Material - Compact Material Edititor - CANNOT RIGHT CLICK

Previous version of the blend material used the old style native Windows controls. Newer versions use Qt controls. 3ds Max itself is migrating away from the native Windows controls to Qt so we have to rewrite our controls too.

So, with the current state of the Blend Material, it is not possible to paste into the base material slot? If not how does one instance a material in there using the CME? First time I have never had access to right click menu in CME using 2022.3 and vray 6.2

you can use the following workaround for now :
1- copy the materiel that you want to add to the base
2-put any material in the base ( default Vraymtl will do )
3- double click to "dive" into the base material property
4-paste the material that you want to have into the top right button as image below

Hello again.
So I upgraded to Max 2023 and latest vray. I am in Vray blend. Still having right click issues.

I can right click ont he blend amount map slot. that works.
Coat Materials I cannot right click on empty slots. I can right click on a material which already has a material, but for whatever reason it doesn't allow me to paste instance.
So yeah, still broken...

I am told a fix is available in today's stable builds.
Notice this is part of the wider Qt-fication efforts that are ongoing at full steam.
