OCIO environment variable

Hello, I haave a question about OCIO/ACES in VRay6.

Why are the dropdowns for "input Colorspace", "Display Device" and "View Transform" disabled when you use an environment variable for OCIO config? I would still like to be able to choose between different view transforms. Am I doing something wrong?



If I don't set the VRAY_VFB_OCIO_VIEW_TRANSFORM to anything it "unlocks" the dropdown but when I choose something else than sRGB nothing happens it still choses sRGB.

Hi, I think something is wrong with the way the variable is linked.

Hi, this is expected behaviour. It has been upgraded in V-Ray 6. Once we have environment variables set-up they will always override the settings in VFB once the scene is closed and opened again. So leaving the dropdowns active can be confusing.
