Are you folks running multiple instances of Max? I don’t believe settings are saved until Max quits. So the last instance of Max wins the Prefs War.

Be sure to quit all Max instances, launch a new Mac, change your settings, and quit Max again to get things to stick.

Of course could be something completely different, as Monty Python would say.

Joelaff the settings get flipped if you use Vantage, also it feels like something that happens when using GPU and back again... Either way the setting should be off unless requested to turn on..

We already have the issue logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-13424). I'll ping the product manager about it to increase its priority.
