Searched again for the dump files but the last ones are from august 2022 here.
The vray mesh exporter let 3ds max crash directly to the desktop after selecting the 4th or 5th folder in a path.
So there is no minidump and no windows error dialog after the crash.

Selecting the 3rd or sometimes 4th folder is working without problems.
I saved around 500 or so proxies in exactly the same folders a few months ago with vray5 and all previous vray versions with no problems.

I understand that without a minidump file there is no way to research what is going on.
Iam on max2023, windows pro 10, amd cpu (32-64 threadripper).

Filip, can you save/export successfully in your folder \proxies?

I am unable to reproduce the crash with the provided files. Tested by exporting all .vrmeshes as separate files to a location (few folders in folders). Maybe something totally different is going on. Do you guys mind if we turn to basics and reset 3ds max to its system defaults?

Hi Hermit, 2024 deleted the ENU folder so all should reset, vrmesh export no issues, then I returned the old original ENU back and tried again, vrmesh export no issues, only thing that changed yesterday is I updated to the latest bios and set the memory expo down from 4800 to 4600mhz as got bluescreen on windows startup. I am still testing the RAM limits between 4400 to 4800 stability depending on the bios version, but at the time of the last vrmesh export crash the system was stable with no bios change for quite long time, rendering heavy scenes often. Anyway as vrmesh exports with no problems to the default path and I can move it later to the destination, this is a minor issue here....
