Has something broke over the past two updates? I can no longer zoom or use focal length. Film gate seems to work. When using zoom or focal length, I can see the camera geometry move in the scene, but the view port doesn't change.

Works ok here with Max 23, Vray latest....did you make sure to untick FOV?

I'm on 2020 and vray 6.1 (whatever the latest is) and fov works as expected but zoom doesn't work in real-time. I can change the value but the view doesn't change until I deselect and reselect the camera.

Hi, thank you for reporting the issue. I tracked it far back. This behavior hasn't changed because of the last 2 updates. Furthermore, the same behavior could be seen with Max's Physical camera rendered on Scanline. The issue is reported to our devs under VMAX-13220.
Meanwhile, you could use Focal length, with which the Zoom factor works fine.

Very weird that it's an issue...I just tested this again to make doubly sure and there is no problem whatsoever with my version.
The only time zoom and focal length have no effect regardless is when the 'field of view' option is ticked, which I assumed to be as intented.

Yes. This particular combination is an exception. Devs will investigate further if it was intended. Once I know I will share the result.

Still wondering who on earth is using FOV? Also, why is this the default?
