I've noticed for a while that moving around Chaos Scatter surfaces and spline areas is extremely slow (FPS drops to ~10). Moreover, doing this takes 100% CPU resources and my CPU cooler revs up instantly as if it's starting to overheat (temps also spike to 80-90*C instantly). Is this normal and can it be alleviated? This happens even with the simples scatters when the display mode is set to "Wire box" and ~5000 total displayed instances in the viewport. Forest Pack doesn't have these issues. Everything is extremely fluid when moving the surfaces/splines around and the CPU usage when doing so is ~15% with my fans not spinning at all.
Is it possible for the instances' positions to not change when I move the surface or the area splines? This is an issue when I have to adjust a surface or an area spline and then I have to do a region render. With Forest Pack the instances stay where they are no matter where I move the surface or the area spline.
