  • Weird lens effects behaviour

I'm rendering an interior and have a denoiser and lens effects enabled.
If I turn the opacity down on the denoiser then the noise is visible, of course, but if I then enable lens effects then
a denoised result is enabled along with the lens effects. You can see what I mean in the screenshots attached.

This is using the version before the latest update, with Max 24.

EDIT: Ok, I see what it's doing. If I have 'create effectsresult' enabled then it displays that, although I have it set to display the rgb channel (default).
So not a major issue but it's likely this is not the intended behaviour.

There's an "Auto-switch to effects result" option in Render Setup > Settings > System. Turn it off.

Thanks, I knew about that but it doesn't switch to it, it stays on displaying the rgb channel.
As far as I remember when 'switch to...' was enabled then it actually used to switch to that
      in the vfb layer list.
In any case, even if that is the reason then it seems to be still incorrect, as the result should be what is currently set, so it
should not enable the denoiser at 100% if I have both disabled it and set its opacity to 0, no?

I saw what you mean and found a similar thread. It seems the issue concerns the VRayDenoiser layer as well. I'll add the info to the log.
