Hi, thanks for posting. Try to build a scene, render and save in exr. The pixel information is there. If you open just a random exr file that is not saved from the VFB it won't work and this is expected.

I understand that this is a VFB specification.
      But why doesn't it work?
I would like to find out the pixel float values of HDR images found on the internet.

It won't work on every HDRI. Actually I couldn't find a single exr file in our assets that worked. But there seems to be more to it. Waiting on a developers opinion right now. Please have a bit more patience.

          Hello,

It doesn't work if the exr file does not have alpha channel (which is common for HDRIs). We'll check if we can change that.

          Best regards,

Hi flat, in the meantime if you happen to have Chaos Player installed, you could use that to check the pixel values.

Thank you for the information about the Alpha channel. interesting

              Ah, there is ChaosPlayer.
And I found that we can measure the EXR Float value in 3dsMax File>>"View Image".
