We have experience a weird issue here at work with tiling bitmaps, that they sorta made a weird grid artifact on the mesh. (see images attached)
At first we thought it had to do with our maps not tiling properly but we later found out that by loading the bitmap with the normal 3ds max bitmap the issue goes away.
Then i thought it had to do with the bitmap filtering, so i set vraybitmap to isotropic and default filtering, still had the same artifact.
