reflection/glossines cut off

  • reflection/glossines cut off

    Hi

    Could somebody help me to solve this puzzle. I do not know why I am getting this hard reflection cut off. I have looked on cut off values, tried full light evaluation, looked into different road material. Microfaced ggx value pomped to 7 helped a bit but I am sure I am missing something.

      Anisotropic reflection on the ground perhaps?

      That is a little weird. Please be sure to post here when you do figure it out. Would like to know.

        Hi Aleksandar

        Thank you for reply. I have sent the scene but I have found that there was a problem with those lights in the scene. I have created a new ones and they work as expected.

        Actually it it not working. It seems that small light radius and high multiplier is causing it.

            So is it some sort of clamp that can be resolved in settings?

              Setting the VRayLights' Cutoff value to 0 should resolve it. There used to be an issue specifically with small radius lights, however, it is fixed.

                  Does the issue only occur with a texture map in the glossiness? Was wondering if it might be a 8bit map issue. I mean the cutoff issue triggered by an 8bit map perhaps...
