CPU running 89% with VRay 6.2

  • CPU running 89% with VRay 6.2

    Hi,

    Hoping anyone here can help me figure out why my pc running at 89% and still dropping, sometimes reaching 85%. This makes a simple kid room rendering that took 3 hours to finish.

      HI,
      pc running at 89% and still dropping
      Is this happening only in your current project?
      Have you tested the hardware performance using dedicated software (for example this one) to see it it will utilize the CPU at 100%.
      Also you are able to monitor the temperatures of your hardware during the test with it.

          Hi, I have test with Vray benchmark and my pc utilize the CPU at 100%, I have try few new scene and it still running at around 91% GPU Temperature 56c

            Hi, try to export and render the scene using V-Ray Standalone and monitor the utilization and share the result:

            Please use a dedicated hardware monitoring tool, not only task manager.
            You can watch your temperatures in a dedicated tool as well.
            Check if you have enabled a power saving setting in your Windows power settings.
