I am pretty sure I brought this up before, but it never got answered. Every time I open my VFB I have to drag my history tab back to the left, out of the way, and I have to drag my VFB layers property panel open. Nothing is remembered.

If you set it how you want it, close it, close max, and re-open, does it work? Max prefs are saved on exit so perhaps these settings are too...
