I am using Vray 5 (5.20.23 build 00002) with 3ds Max 2023
I am having an issue where VrayUserColor and VrayUserScalar maps do not retain the custom names I've created.
When the Max scene is saved and re-opened the custom names disappear and are replaced with generic map names (Map #179, etc).
The materials are also saved to a Material Library. If I delete the "generic named" instance of the material and then drag the saved material from the library into the Slate editor, the names are retained.
Unfortunately this is not ideal for our workflow, as it relies on the custom names for editing in Threekit.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to retain the map names? Is this a possible bug? Thanks in advance.
