Anyone else experience often crashes in newer vray when trying to create a vrayproxy? Max is 2023, vray 6.20.06

This is still happening. Now my MAX froze when I changed the location of the export folder for my vrayproxy.

This was happening a lot with max2019 and V-ray.
But, if I saved first, export proxy, crash, restart max, open same scene, and export would work fine again.

      Zero problems in max2024

Crashed again after just opening the vraymesh export window. Are Chaos guys aware of this bug?

No issues on my end. Tested with 3ds Max 2023, V-Ray 6.20.06. Does it happen when exporting a simple Teapot for example? Do send a video reproduction and also the 3dsmax_minidump.dmp file created after the crash. It is located here: "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp". Make sure it's the one created after the crash by looking at the date/time stamp.

No, I export normal models, like furniture, cars, etc. Just happened but this time it didn't even create a dump file. I clicked the export, then changed the path export and after I selected it I wanted to click "automatically create proxies" and it freezes and MAX is gone. Now I reopened the file and it exported fine. Previously I only attached all objects into one, and relinked bitmaps in that file.

Just updated to vray 7 and it happened again. This time I got a dump file.
                Any ideas?

                  Hello,

The attached crash dump is from some render and not from vrmesh export ? Crash looks like running out of memory but if you can share the scene with our support - they can try it here too.

                  Best regards,
                  Yavor
